POINT GRAPE
A view of their house/studio in Punta Uva (meaning grape point), Costa
Rica where David and his second wife wintered before they were married.
Due to the wet climate, he completed 5 paintings using acrylics, but was
unable to bring them back to the U.S. because they were still not dry
enough to travel. The two miniatures that are on the wall in this painting
are owned by local restaurant/hotel owner, Selvin, and the three on the
counter are owned by neighbor and friend Karr. This painting is the only
record of that collection.
YEAR: 1999 SIZE: 20x26 in. PRICE: £1,750
